About Us

The Beginning of Trailhead

A few years ago, a group of experienced entrepreneurs came together with a vision to create a community where anyone with an idea can receive the mentoring and the experience needed to succeed in the startup world. Trailhead (TH) was launched in 2015 based on the vision of the founders, the city of Boise, and key business partners throughout the Treasure Valley.

Our Vision

To democratize access to entrepreneurship by helping entrepreneurs and start-up owners succeed through providing the connections, resources, and guidance they need to take their ideas to the next level. In 5 years, Trailhead will be the major player in the Boise start-up world and will have added to its legacy of successful, local businesses and thereby fueling economic prosperity and social equity in our community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help entrepreneurs succeed, by providing them with the knowledge, tools, resources and networks they need to take their ideas and ventures to the next level.

Our Values

Entrepreneurship

The heartbeat of an economy. Entrepreneurs dream, develop, and produce solutions to the problems we face. Trailhead was created to bring together creators, inventors, dreamers, and problem solvers under one roof while providing the resources they need to make their problem-solving creations a reality.

Inclusivity

Entrepreneurial spirit and diversity, one cannot exist without the other. The presence of diverse thoughts, experiences, and personal identities are all crucial aspects of the entrepreneurial process. Offering a collaborative safe space for entrepreneurs of all cultures, genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds is at the heart of our organization’s purpose.

Community

Connecting members, mentors, investors, and the public is what we do best! Developing Boise’s entrepreneurial community is a major goal of our organization.

Continuous Learning

The professional world is ever-changing. Trailhead aims to provide its members with ample opportunities to develop their current skill sets and acquire additional skill sets through educational programming, workshops, and mentorship.

Respect

The famous golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. Trailhead prides itself on treating everyone with the kindness, respect, and dignity they deserve.

Service with Integrity
