We empower innovators to turn ideas into business.
Boise's premier location to build businesses and learn 21st century skills.
A few years ago, a group of experienced entrepreneurs came together with a vision to create a local environment to empower entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses. With support from partners, including: Micron, Albertsons, Capital City Development Corporation, and the City of Boise, Trailhead was launched in 2015. Since its launch, Trailhead has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and innovators launch, grow, and run their businesses.
In the process of supporting the Boise startup ecosystem, Trailhead identified the need for programs that teach skills required to scale startups. To meet this need, Trailhead launched Start in 2015. Start provides entrepreneurs with a framework for building their business based on lean startup methodology. In 2016 Trailhead introduced Code School, a combination of education and application to train a new workforce of software engineers; engineers to fill the technology skills gap for startups and mature companies, alike.
